This year again, we will participate in the special edition of the famous luxe pack show taking place on August 31 and September 1, 2021 in Paris. In 2019, we had the chance to participate in the first special edition also taking place in Paris.

The theme of these two special editions is "packaging innovations for ecology". This theme is fully in line with current concerns that finally consider the earth's resources as limited. We understand that we must use current resources without compromising the resources of future generations. This is actually a fairly common definition for the concept of sustainable development.

In 2015, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the various member states of the United Nations.

Through these 17 goals, 5 dimensions stand out: planet, humanity, prosperity, peace and partnerships. Goal 12 out of 17 is the one we are most interested in, it aims to establish sustainable consumption and production patterns.

In fact, through our unresponsible consumption patterns, we are using our natural resources excessively. The goal now would be to "do better and more with less", this by increasing the efficiency that we do with resources and adopting more sustainable consumption and production patterns as highlighted by the United Nations website. If our goal is to continue to develop our economy, it must be done in a way that considerably reduces our ecological footprint. There is therefore a legitimate interest in considering eco-friendly packaging for a better world.

During this show, our CEO Igor FROMONT and director Brice REBILLARD will have the opportunity to intervene as an actor of luxury packaging to highlight our efforts for responsible packaging. Special attention will be given to our wide range of reusable magnetic boxes. Let's think in particular about our Wonderbox, a magnetic box made from recycled cardboard. This box was designed to be both very durable and stylish. With these two features, once the packaging is delivered to your customers, they will be able to use it in many other ways, such as to store jewelry, keepsakes or even a pair of shoes.

It is therefore very interesting for a brand to take the time to take care of its brand image through the packaging, because it is now an integral part of the product. Moreover, a successful packaging will allow you to remain visible on a daily basis thanks to your box used for other purposes.

The Merkator box will also be in the spotlight, as will our fully customizable Postpack mailing box. The latter is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. On top of that, it will be delivered to you flat, which is ecologically interesting for transportation. By taking up little volume, we minimize the environmental impact of transportation.
